Position Overview

General Operative – Morrison Construction – Inverness.

Support project teams through the full life-cycle of construction projects across the Highland area, working alongside tradespeople and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help tradespeople and management with every aspect of the building process
  • Be involved in projects from start to finish
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Assist with logistics, traffic management and establish safe working zones
  • Operate hand machinery such as drills, as required
  • Set up and dismantle access equipment, including ladders and some scaffolding
  • Transport, stack and remove tools, equipment and materials

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to work safely and follow safety instructions
  • Flexible attitude to work and location
  • General understanding and awareness of individual health and safety responsibilities and adherence to company policy and procedures
