Position Overview
General Operative – Morrison Construction – Inverness.
Support project teams through the full life-cycle of construction projects across the Highland area, working alongside tradespeople and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Help tradespeople and management with every aspect of the building process
- Be involved in projects from start to finish
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Assist with logistics, traffic management and establish safe working zones
- Operate hand machinery such as drills, as required
- Set up and dismantle access equipment, including ladders and some scaffolding
- Transport, stack and remove tools, equipment and materials
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to work safely and follow safety instructions
- Flexible attitude to work and location
- General understanding and awareness of individual health and safety responsibilities and adherence to company policy and procedures
