Would you like the opportunity to shape a newly built IT Audit capability in a global business?

My client, a global provider of financial services, is hiring a Senior IT Auditor into a brand-new role within its Internal Audit function.

This is a standout opportunity to join at a formative stage — offering real ownership, high visibility, and the chance to influence how IT audit is delivered across a complex, international environment.

You’ll report into the Head of IT Audit and work closely with stakeholders across technology, risk and operations.

Responsibilities

You’ll lead and deliver end-to-end IT audits across areas including:

  • IT General Controls (ITGC)

  • Change Management & SDLC
  • Operational Resilience / DORA
  • Project & Transformation Assurance

You’ll have the autonomy to run audits from planning through to reporting, while engaging directly with senior stakeholders across the business.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Brand new position – not backfilling, real scope to shape the role
  • Broad audit coverage – no siloed work
  • High visibility with senior leadership
  • Growing audit function with clear progression
  • Exposure to international and regulatory environments

What We’re Looking For

  • IT Audit experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of PRA / FCA frameworks
  • Exposure to DORA / Operational Resilience
  • Experience across applications, infrastructure, or cyber audits
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership
  • Salary up to £75,000 base + strong bonus potential and benefits package.
  • Interviews will take place remotely and in person.
