Job Title: Logistics & Stock Co‑Ordinator

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Permanent

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £35k‑£37k depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week – 8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate competitive national freight rates with suppliers and carriers.
  • Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound domestic freight bookings.
  • Provide accurate national freight rates to the design team for quotation purposes.
  • Maintain and update the pipeline of expected and actual UK shipping schedules.
  • Deliver weekly shipping updates to clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Prepare and issue all relevant documentation to clients, including Certificates of Conformity upon receipt of goods.
  • Oversee inventory management and forecasting to maintain accurate stock levels, including conducting monthly rolling stock checks.
  • Support the development and implementation of new systems and processes as the business grows.
  • Provide cross‑functional support within the logistics department as required.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar stock, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Willingness to travel, with occasional visits required to UK client sites and supplier locations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
