About The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the People Programme Director on the MEH Programme at Hinkley Point C. This is far more than a traditional PA role. You’ll act as a trusted partner, helping to manage priorities, coordinate across a complex stakeholder landscape and ensure the smooth running of key people and organisational initiatives.
Hybrid Working Pattern
The role is based on a hybrid working pattern.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a complex and fast-moving diary, ensuring priorities are aligned to programme objectives
- Act as a gatekeeper, managing and prioritising requests on behalf of the Director
- Prepare briefings, presentations and leadership materials
- Coordinate meetings across multiple senior stakeholders and partner organisations
- Track actions, risks and deliverables across key workstreams
- Support preparation for leadership meetings, boards and key programme forums
- Maintain structured systems for tracking priorities and communications
- Provide support across People Strategy and programme initiatives
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism

- You’ll be calm under pressure, highly proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders.
- You’ll bring structure to a fast‑moving environment, anticipate needs and act as a critical enabler of leadership effectiveness.
- Experience supporting senior executives in complex environments.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination experience.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
- Experience within infrastructure, construction or engineering environments (desirable).
- Exposure to HR, programme or transformation delivery (desirable).
- Experience working in multi‑partner or matrix organisations (desirable).
