About The Role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the People Programme Director on the MEH Programme at Hinkley Point C. This is far more than a traditional PA role. You’ll act as a trusted partner, helping to manage priorities, coordinate across a complex stakeholder landscape and ensure the smooth running of key people and organisational initiatives.

Hybrid Working Pattern

The role is based on a hybrid working pattern.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage a complex and fast-moving diary, ensuring priorities are aligned to programme objectives
  • Act as a gatekeeper, managing and prioritising requests on behalf of the Director
  • Prepare briefings, presentations and leadership materials
  • Coordinate meetings across multiple senior stakeholders and partner organisations
  • Track actions, risks and deliverables across key workstreams
  • Support preparation for leadership meetings, boards and key programme forums
  • Maintain structured systems for tracking priorities and communications
  • Provide support across People Strategy and programme initiatives
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism

  • You’ll be calm under pressure, highly proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders.
  • You’ll bring structure to a fast‑moving environment, anticipate needs and act as a critical enabler of leadership effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting senior executives in complex environments.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination experience.
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
  • Experience within infrastructure, construction or engineering environments (desirable).
  • Exposure to HR, programme or transformation delivery (desirable).
  • Experience working in multi‑partner or matrix organisations (desirable).
