Overview

Graduate role in Operational Technology services across Industrial Waste & Energy. 2‑year programme beginning 2 September 2026 at Ling Hall Landfill Site, Rugby, Warwickshire. Base salary of £30,000.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as technical liaison across OT services.
  • Identify and implement improvements to OT systems.
  • Integrate DB&T systems with OT infrastructure.
  • Support delivery of reliable and stable customer solutions.
  • Investigate new OT technologies and solutions.
  • Liaise with site staff, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Communicate technical information to stakeholders.
  • Assist with training and documentation of OT systems and platforms.
  • Support new tenders and mobilisation processes.
  • Demonstrate strong health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Control & Instrumentation, Mechatronics or similar) – to be achieved by September 2026.
  • UK driving licence.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • Good communication skills and collaborative working ability.
  • Willingness to learn technical systems and equipment.
  • Reliability and commitment to deadlines.
  • Interest in OT engineering or the energy sector.

Desirable

  • Experience or understanding of programming languages.
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets.
