Position Overview

CMC is supporting a major UK transmission infrastructure scheme requiring senior HV Cable Engineering support for a large-scale cable system.

The successful consultant will join the cable engineering team and take a lead role in supporting the delivery of a 400kV cable system associated with a complex underground route connecting into overhead line interfaces.

Cable Systems / Delivery Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in developing and reviewing cable system design deliverables for a route.
  • Review available project scope documentation, design information, and programme inputs to help define cable engineering responsibilities, identify technical gaps, and raise engineering queries where required.
