Role: ERP Manager / Technician

Location: Irlam

Salary: £55,000

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm

Our client is looking for an ERP Manager / Technician to join their team based in Irlam. Our client is experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen their buying team. Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management Acting as the primary liaison between Supplier Project Management team and internal teams (sales, prepress, production, finance).
  • Print‑Specific Process Mapping Bridging the gap between software capabilities and print production realities with the assistance of senior employees from the customer side (e.g., job estimation, inventory of paper/inks, large‑format printing, finishing, financing).
  • Data Collection, Validation and Migration Leading the task of cleaning, validating, and migrating master data (customer lists, material specifications, machine rates) from old spreadsheets or legacy system Clarity.
  • Scope and Control Preventing "scope disturbance" by distinguishing between critical "must‑haves" and "nice‑to‑haves," ensuring the project sticks to the agenda roadmap.
  • Change Management & Training Addressing resistance from staff accustomed to previous or manual workflows and driving adoption of new, automated processes. Deal with different priorities from stakeholders or top management (e.g., sales expectations vs production capacity).
  • Risk Management and Continuous Improvement Identifying bottlenecks (e.g., slow proof approvals, inaccurate costing) and actively communicate with Durst Lift project management team to create contingency plans.

Essential Skills and Background

ERP/MIS Implementation Experience

Experience working with MIS or ERP software highly preferred, or experience in system implementation, setup, administration, or configuration.

Project Management Methodologies

Experience in planning and prioritizing tasks.

Leadership and Communication

Ability to build consensus among diverse departments, lead the change management within the company and provide clear updates to executive leadership and to the project management team from vendor side.

Analytical Thinking

Ability to analyse data for cost estimation, quotation management, and production efficiency.
