About the Role
The Digital Advertising Operations Specialist plays a key role in the ad operations group. You will be responsible for the daily management of client campaigns and driving strategic revenue growth for each account. A typical day includes providing quality assurance, implementing campaigns, pulling campaign pacing reports, reviewing the status of campaigns to optimize performance, and troubleshooting site and advertiser issues. You will handle clients with grace and confidence while working closely with the account management team and other internal departments.
You Will
- Implement and manage digital and audio advertising campaigns, including direct and programmatic orders.
- Monitor delivery of campaigns from beginning to end and optimize as needed.
- Produce weekly reports outlining campaign performance.
- Meet twice weekly with the sales and planning team to go over client campaigns and reports.
- Utilize analytical and proprietary tools for campaign reporting.
- Perform proactive daily analysis and campaign optimization.
- Interact with internal and external clients, coordinating and consulting to ensure successful campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams in QA’ing and launching custom campaigns and ad units.
- Follow up with immediate action and provide concise, timely feedback within established deadlines.
- Self‑manage tasks and schedule for effective time management.
- Troubleshoot targeting issues, resolve traffic issues, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot simple site issues, liaising with site developers and product teams for solutions.
You Have
- 3-4 years of online ad trafficking experience.
- Ability to multi‑task and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with ad serving tools and order management systems (e.g., GAM, Adbook, Megaphone, IAS).
- Ideally experience with programmatic advertising (PMPs, OMP).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong written and communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients and internal departments.
- Ability to work independently as part of a global team.
- BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
