Electrical Product Design Engineer

Due to business growth, we are looking to recruit for a Electrical/ Electronics Design Engineer for a leading manufacturing engineering company based North of York. The main purpose of the role is to provide engineering design and support functions, under instruction of more senior engineers. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or ElectronicEngineering or a related field with exposure to design of electrical systems. Hours – Monday – Thurs / Friday Provide design input on projects, using the technical competencies listed below. Produce engineering designs, specifications, and documentation to ISO 9001. Assist in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals. Offsite engineering support for new products. Provide technical support to the production, logistics and integration departments. Design of analogue and digital electronic circuits and PCBs Communication systems and protocols PCB manufacturing, standards and prototyping Industrial sensors and equipment Video distribution, formats, conversion and storage Design of motor control electronic circuits and PCBs Design of electrical power transmission systems Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related/equivalent subject. Demonstrable experience in an Electrical/Electronics Design Engineering role. Clear technical writing and good record keeping.
