Job Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed mechanical designs and specifications for building services projects.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
  • Assist in developing cost-effective engineering solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Attend client meetings to define project briefs and manage expectations effectively.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, review tenders, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct site inspections and produce detailed condition reports to inform design and maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery and integration.
  • Utilise design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and IES to develop accurate and efficient models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design for building services across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and IES software for building services design.
  • Knowledge of electrical design software such as Amtech is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of technical standards, building regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Active UK SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it is essential due to project security requirements
