What You'll Do

  • Manage renewable energy contracts from planning through to completion
  • Oversee installation of Solar PV, battery storage and low‑carbon systems
  • Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and project delivery across multiple jobs
  • Monitor project performance against KPIs, SLAs and budgets
  • Handle contract variations, risks and commercial elements of delivery
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and delivery
  • Ensure all works comply with UK building regulations, MCS standards and H&S requirements
  • Support and mentor junior team members as the function grows

What We're Looking For

  • Strong electrical background (e.g. Electrician, Supervisor, Project Manager)
  • Experience delivering or supporting electrical / building services projects
  • Understanding of UK building services regulations and compliance
  • Exposure to project management or contract delivery (formal title not essential)
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple workstreams
  • Commercial awareness and confidence dealing with clients
  • Proactive attitude – someone keen to step up and take ownership

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • Solar PV / renewables knowledge beneficial but not essential
