National Account / Sales Manager

Our Client is a Specialist International Packaging Manufacturer looking to appoint an ambitious Sales Professional who seeks to build a long lasting career with them.
Overview
The role will be best suited to someone with experience in both Account Management and Business Development within Paper and Plastics FMCG Packaging for the Food & Retail sectors.
Highly advantageous would be a track record within markets such as Leading Grocery Retailers, Fast Food Chains, Plant Bakeries, Distributors and Consolidators.
The position requires the ability to regularly be onsite at the Client’s premises in Staffordshire when not visiting clients.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Account management (approximately 60%) and New Business Development (approximately 40%) – will vary week to week.
Manage account values ranging from several £100,000s to low £million.
Qualifications
- Experience in both Account Management and Business Development in Paper and Plastics FMCG Packaging within Food & Retail.
- Track record in markets such as Leading Grocery Retailers, Fast Food Chains, Plant Bakeries, Distributors and Consolidators.
- Ability to work onsite at Staffordshire premises and travel to clients.
- Strong understanding of Paper Packaging Machinery and capital investment dynamic in a growing company.
