Electrical Design Engineer – The Role:
- Designing electrical schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical
- Translating customer requirements into innovative design solutions
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Supporting customers and suppliers with technical expertise
- Specifying materials/components and generating bills of materials
- Engaging in R&D and occasional on–site support
Electrical Design Engineer – The Person:
- HNC qualified (Electrical/Electronic discipline) or equivalent
- Experience in process automation or electrical design is a plus
- Familiarity with BS 7671 (wiring regs) and BS EN 60204 (machine safety) helpful
- Detail–oriented, practical, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a fast–paced environment
