We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented intern to support the EU TikTok Shop LIVE central team on LIVE infrastructure support, seller governance operations, and traffic/data diagnostics. You’ll help improve merchant experience by reducing misjudgements, accelerating issue resolution, and turning complex signals into clear insights and action plans.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys combining ops rigor + analytical thinking, and who’s comfortable working cross-functionally with policy, moderation/quality, product, and algorithm teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Governance violation case operations & quality improvement
  • Collect, standardize, and summarize LIVE violation cases (e.g., suspensions, restrictions, misjudgements) into reusable case libraries.
  • Identify recurring patterns and high-risk scenarios; draft clear insights and recommendations to improve review quality and consistency.
  • Support escalations and follow-ups with relevant stakeholders; track progress and ensure closure with strong documentation.
  • Merchant experience improvement
  • Support building playbooks/FAQs/guidance for common governance scenarios to reduce merchant confusion and repeated issues.
  • Help monitor merchant feedback and pain points; translate them into structured problem statements and actionable next steps.
  • Traffic & performance diagnostics (data analysis + case studies)
  • Conduct basic-to-intermediate analysis on LIVE traffic and performance signals
  • Build case studies to investigate traffic anomalies and support root-cause analysis (policy/governance, product, or algo-related).
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams to align on problem definition, evidence packages, and solution tracking.
  • Communicate findings clearly in written updates and meeting notes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Data/Stats, Computer Science, Social Science with strong quantitative focus).
  • Strong structured thinking and attention to detail; able to handle ambiguity and turn messy information into clear outputs.
  • Good analytical skills: comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets; ability to work with metrics and build clean trackers.
  • Strong written communication in English; able to summarize complex cases clearly and concisely.
  • Ownership mindset: reliable follow-through, good stakeholder management, and strong documentation habits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL / Python (basic is fine) or BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Data Studio).
  • Prior experience in Trust & Safety, governance, moderation, marketplace platforms, or operations.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or livestreaming ecosystems and common fraud/abuse patterns.
