Consultant – Paediatric Anaesthetics

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0745 – 1745.

Location: Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Bristol region.

Booking dates (max 3 months): 13/04/2026 – 03/07/2026.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • At least 12 months suitable Paediatric anaesthesia subspecialty experience in a recognised centre in the UK or abroad.
  • Evidence of entitlement to live and work in the UK.
  • Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of problems, both emergency and elective, within the speciality of Paediatric Anaesthesia.
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients.
  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

Compensation and Working Conditions

  • This post is inside IR35 and payable on a weekly basis via Trust PAYE.
  • The rate approved for the role is £102.00 PAYE inclusive of holiday pay.
