Electronic Design Engineer – LED / Machine Vision Tech
Up to £40,000 + hybrid working
We’re partnering with a cutting-edge engineering business at the forefront of LED illumination for machine vision systems.
Now, they’re looking for a Electronic Design Engineer to join the team and make an impact from day one.
The Role
This is a hands‑on hardware role where you’ll take ownership across the full product lifecycle—from concept through to production.
You’ll be:
- Designing and developing electronic circuits and PCBs
- Carrying out prototype validation and testing
- Supporting manufacturing and production processes
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality hardware
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and real ownership – your work won’t sit on a shelf.
What They’re Looking For
- BSc/BEng (or higher) in Electronic Engineering (or similar)
- 2+ years’ experience in circuit design + PCB layout
- Experience with Altium (or similar PCB design tools)
- Understanding of EMC / ESD compliance
- Exposure to firmware / embedded programming (or keen to learn)
- Experience with LED illumination design
- Exposure to machine vision systems
- Worked alongside mechanical design teams
