About the Opportunity


MetLife UK is seeking a graduate to join our Graduate Training Program to fill the role of Business System Analyst (BSA) intern.



Key Responsibilities


Liaise between the business and technical teams. BSAs gather, review, analyse and evaluate end‑user needs and develop functional requirements and functional design documentation. BSA Interns may gain exposure to the following, depending on their specified role and team:



  • Requirements gathering processes

  • Software development life cycle

  • Business process and use case modelling

  • System testing

  • IT standards, procedures, and policies

  • Technical writing/documentation

  • IT project management



Required Qualifications



  • Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Preference will be given to students academically involved in computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, mathematics, business administration, or related fields.

  • Able to commit to a 12‑month internship (with potential for extension or graduate opportunities).



Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong technical curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Relevant campus involvement, work experience, and/or community service experience.

  • Working understanding of AI concepts.

  • Understanding of database design.

  • Insurance knowledge.
