Trainee Change Control Specialist

We seek agile, motivated individuals eager to be trained in providing change control support for submarine projects. Candidates should be commercially savvy with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. If you are looking to reskill or expand your skills across disciplines like planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, and reporting, this role is ideal. Attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset are essential.

Participants will receive comprehensive training in project, programme, and portfolio management (P3M), including soft skills such as negotiation, conflict resolution, facilitation, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence. Training involves scenario-based workshops for practical application.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Implement change management processes ensuring alignment with project requirements
  • Maintain Performance Measurement Baseline with authorized change information
  • Lead Change Management forums, ensuring actions are tracked and progressed
  • Assess impact and implement changes into Baselines and Configuration Management
  • Manage the project change register and impact assessments
  • Process all change requests and related tasks

Minimum Attributes for Applicants:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to view problems from multiple perspectives
  • Commitment to high-quality work and continuous learning
  • Experience in delivery or risk environments within engineering, oil and gas, construction, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or related fields
