Product Designer UI Focus Contract

PAYE inside IR35

Initial contract until end of July with potential extension

£300 to £400 per day

Hybrid with minimum 2 days per month onsite in Hampshire

I am working with an educational organisation undergoing an exciting brand refresh, and they are looking for a Product Designer with a strong UI focus to support the transformation.

The role will centre on crafting high quality visual design, while contributing to the evolution of a scalable design system to ensure consistency across digital products.

Key requirements:

• Strong product design experience across both UX and UI, with a focus on UI
• Strong UI design capability with a keen eye for detail
• Proven experience working on and maintaining design systems and component libraries
• Experience producing accessible, user centred designs that meet user needs and comply with WAD and WCAG 2.2 standards
• Confident using Figma for design and prototyping
• Comfortable collaborating with developers and stakeholders
• Experience within higher education, GDS, government or wider public sector – nice to have
