Salary range: Grade 11 – 16 £46,968 – £62,766 p.a. plus fantastic benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Location: Croydon

This is a fantastic opportunity for a full‑time Property Lawyer to play a key strategic role in the successful delivery of quality legal services to the Council.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a varied and intellectually challenging caseload.
  • Learn and work across all areas of Property, Planning, and Local Government Law, including managing high‑value and complex matters.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive (CILEX).
  • Significant experience in Property, Planning & Local Government Law.
  • Experience in local government preferred, but private‑sector experience working with the local‑government sector is also welcome.
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining effective relationships with directorates and senior leadership.
