An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Service Delivery Team within Estate Services as a Mobile Team Supervisor.
We are seeking a motivated, highly organised, and ambitious individual with great attention to detail. This role will require individuals to be able to work independently and as part of a wider team. This role is responsible for the supervision and line management of the mobile/relief caretaking team, ensuring they provide services to estates set out within the caretaking and quality assurance manuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to the Service Delivery Manager for the resource allocation of the mobile/relief caretaking team and Estate Operatives.
- Supervise and line manage the mobile caretaker team, including work allocation, staff rotas, monitoring, and supervision; ensuring corrective action is taken where appropriate and in line with procedures.
- Authorise leave and manage other absences, including sickness.
- Keep accurate records on caretaking, ensuring robust processes for service charges, performance monitoring, sickness absence, risk assessments, and all other records relating to the team.
- Ensure the team is well trained, knowledgeable, and compliant with health and safety legislation, including use of PPE, safe and efficient use of chemicals and equipment, accident and incident reporting, etc.
- Resolve issues creatively, sensitively, and in line with procedures.
- Monitor tasks and ensure services are delivered to the correct frequencies and standard.
- Deputise for and assist the Service Delivery Manager as required.
