Role Overview

Senior Business Intelligence Developer leads innovative, data‑driven solutions in a large NHS organisation. This 12‑month fixed‑term contract may be slightly reduced to accommodate recruitment and pre‑employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across a diverse BI environment.
• Develop advanced reporting and visual analytics solutions using Qlik Sense, supporting SSRS, Power BI, Business Objects and SharePoint‑based digital solutions.
• Translate complex requirements into accessible dashboards, reports and digital tools for clinical, operational and corporate teams.
• Support the adoption of AI and data science approaches to enhance analytics, automate processes and generate deeper insights.
• Champion data quality, governance and best practice.
• Mentor BI developers and promote innovation across the team.
• Serve as senior representative of the Trust’s reporting workstream for Qlik View and Qlik Sense.
• Support development of reporting tools and dashboards to enable clinicians and senior management to make informed decisions.
• Line‑manage the Qlik Developer and support professional development.
