What you'll be doing



  • Deliver high-quality technical and safety training to Fleet maintenance staff

  • Support competence assessments and ensure engineering standards are met

  • Develop and update training materials within agreed timescales

  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and fleet modifications

  • Help enhance technical capability, reducing failures and improving reliability


What we're looking for



  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with Traction & Rolling Stock

  • Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills

  • Excellent understanding of rail safety and maintenance practices

  • Great communication and organisational skills

  • Confident using IT (Microsoft Word, Excel, and analytical tools)

  • Trainer Techniques (C&G 7331) or A1 Assessor qualification — or willingness to achieve these within 6–12 months
