Kinetic Industrial is supporting a UK market leader in specialist coatings to recruit a Quality Control Manager for Dukinfield, England (North West). This is a permanent role with a contract value of around £45,000 per annum. You will be based primarily on the shop floor, but also office‑based managing and maintaining quality systems and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day quality across powder‑coating and wet paint operations
- Manage and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Support the HSQE Manager with ISO 18001 and ISO 45001 accreditation
- Lead internal audits and address non‑conformances
- Drive corrective and preventative actions
- Monitor quality KPIs and identify process improvement opportunities
- Train and support production teams on quality standards
- Handle customer quality issues and supplier concerns
Required qualifications and experience
- Experience in a quality role within manufacturing (powder‑coating preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001
- Some exposure to ISO 18001/ISO 45001
- Experience with audits, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Good written and verbal communication skills
