I'm working with a growing contractor delivering works across local authority and framework-led projects, who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with both Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors.

This would suit commercially minded surveyors who are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and want genuine responsibility within a supportive team structure.

The Role

  • Managing commercial and contractual responsibilities from pre-con through to final account
  • Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
  • Valuations, cost reporting, forecasting and financial control
  • Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors and clients
  • Identifying cost-saving and value engineering opportunities
  • Supporting wider commercial strategy and project delivery

What they're looking for

  • Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor background
  • Experience within:
    • Schedule of Rates (SOR) works
    • Void works
    • Local authority / framework contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
