Mobile Electrical/building services engineer

Salary: £45/46k + door to door travel pay

Location: Mobile role covering the south East.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Call-Out: 1 in 8 rota (£950 annual standby)

Start Date: ASAP.

The Role

This is an electrically biased building services engineer , providing service, maintenance, and breakdown support across a portfolio of commercial buildings throughout London and the south east.

You will work on a wide range of M&E Plant across their diverse portfolio of clients within commercial, retail and mixed used development contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance, and repair on: Emergency light test, UPS, Wiring, AHU, BMS, general plant room PPM’S.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs across various plant equipment.
  • Maintain clear and accurate job records via company-provided mobile device/tablet.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and industry regulations at all times.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (1 in 8 weeks).

Essential Qualifications

  • 18th edition wiring and regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable covering a mobile patch across London and surrounding areas.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
