Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for a Junior Trade Support Analyst to join their Metals team in London.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring trade details are accurately captured and reconciled within internal systems in line with contractual agreements
  • Working cross-functionally with trading, operations, and middle office teams to resolve discrepancies and implement trade updates
  • Maintaining and updating key operational data, including assay results, delivery schedules, and physical movements
  • Supporting the setup and tracking of logistics, storage, and transportation arrangements
  • Validating pricing events and contract amendments in coordination with relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
  • 1–2 years’ experience (including internships) within commodity trade support, operations, or middle office
  • Exposure to metals or raw materials markets is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
