6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £550-£700/day | Remote (Occasional London/Bristol)We’re supporting a leading digital transformation consultancy delivering secure, cloud-native platforms into government and regulated environments. They are looking for an experienced SC Cleared GCP Engineer with strong GKE expertise to join a high-performing engineering team.
Key Requirements:Active SC Clearance (essential)Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Deep expertise in GKE / Kubernetes in production environmentsProven background delivering secure, scalable, cloud-native solutionsExperience working in government or highly regulated environmentsStrong skills in Terraform / Infrastructure as CodeExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and Zero-Trust principlesKey Responsibilities:Design, build and optimise GCP-based platforms, with a focus on GKEDeploy and manage containerised applications in secure, multi-environment setupsImplement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for repeatable, scalable deploymentsEmbed security best practices and compliance controls across the platformSupport CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processesCollaborate with engineering, platform, and security teams in agile delivery environments xwzovoh Nice to Have:Experience with multi-cloud (AWS/Azure) environmentsExposure to service mesh / CNI (e.g. Cilium)Knowledge of monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)Experience with identity & secrets management (Keycloak, Vault)This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact, mission-critical programmes delivering secure cloud solutions at scale.
