About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of fast-paced, technically challenging projects from concept through to final delivery within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for projects following handover from the Commercial team, ensuring delivery is achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will act as the key link between customers and internal departments including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Commercial, ensuring clear communication and smooth project execution throughout the lifecycle.

  • Manage multiple projects from initial handover through to completion
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed specifications
  • Identify and secure project variations and additional commercial opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to meet critical delivery deadlines
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Track debtor status and escalated issues where necessary
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including BOMs, trackers, and reports
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Support and mentor junior team members where required

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport due to rural location
  • Previous project management experience within manufacturing, automotive, or engineering environments
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and confident stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and BOMs
  • Experience within composites or advanced manufacturing sectors
  • CAD knowledge or technical drawing interpretation
  • Background in estimating, sales, or business development
  • Experience delivering projects against commercial and operational targets
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
