Overview
Island Veterinary Associates are looking for a dedicated GP Vet to join their team. The successful candidate will be given a well-balanced caseload of medicine and surgery, with option to place more emphasis on surgery. The role will be based exclusively at our Bloxwich practice. A welcome bonus of up to £5,000 (pro rata) is available for new hires.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a well-balanced caseload of medicine and surgery
- Option to emphasise surgery depending on clinical interest
- Work at the Bloxwich practice on a 40 hour week across 4 days per week
- Share a fair rota; 1:5 Saturday mornings; no out of hours
- May be required to cover inpatient care if needed
Employment type and schedule
- Employment type: Full-time
- Full-time hours: 40 per week across 4 days; part-time applications considered
- Involvement with a shared rota and weekend coverage as described
Salary and Benefits
- Up to £68,000 (DOE) per year
