Audit & Risk Recruitment have been engaged by a large services business who are transforming their approach to Internal Audit. This role will give you an opportunity to be part of the implementation of a risk-based internal audit approach as well as overseeing a large pre-existing compliance audit function. You can be based anywhere in the UK but you must be willing to commute 2 days/week to Rochdale.
You will design, and lead the delivery of, a risk-based internal audit plan which address the highest risk areas of the business. This will involve significant stakeholder engagement as you introduce internal audit to many parts of the business, and agree corrective actions following audit reporting in a constructive manner. You will also report on progress to the Executive Board and Audit Committee on a regular basis. This role will also require you to manage two separate compliance audit teams split between Rochdale & London.
You will be a fully qualified Internal Audit professional (ACA/ACCA/CIA) with extensive Internal Audit experience, either from industry or Big 4/Top 10 practice. You must have strong experience of managing teams, and be an excellent communicator. If you are making a first move from practice then you must have had prior experience of seconding to a client and managing the in-house team. xwzovoh You must have full eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship in your own right.
