Job Title: Bagging Machine Operator (Semi-Skilled) Location: Little Melton (NR9) Pay: £14.45 per hour (rising to £15.20 after training) Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Bagging Machine Operator to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Little Melton. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and fast-paced team within a reputable production environment.
This role offers excellent work-life balance with a fixed shift pattern and weekends off.
Working Hours: 06:00 – 18:00 4 days per week (12-hour shifts) Weekends off plus one additional rotational weekday off
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring bagging machinery within a food production environment
- Machine minding and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of equipment
- Assisting with machine set-up and basic adjustments
- Supporting production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Carrying out routine checks and reporting any faults or issues
- Working as part of a team to ensure efficient production flow
- Following strict health & safety and hygiene procedures
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing
- Experience in machine minding and machine set-up is essential
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn and develop in a semi-skilled role
