Manufacturing Engineer | Lymington | £55,000

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, driving continuous improvement and supporting the development of new products from concept through to production.

As Manufacturing Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • Supporting product development to ensure manufacturability
  • Leading the transfer of new products into production
  • Creating and maintaining work instructions and training materials
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation

As Manufacturing Engineer, your experience will include:

  • A Degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a modern electronics or mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of production costs
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and fault-finding in electronics is advantageous
