We are currently supporting a high-performing secondary school in the West Midlands to appoint a Teacher of Geography for a September 2026 start.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and supportive Humanities department within a school that places a strong emphasis on academic achievement, behaviour, and professional development.
The Role
You will:
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (A-Level desirable)
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that promote strong progress
- Use assessment effectively to track and improve student outcomes
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum
- Support students pastorally as a form tutor
- Deliver intervention and enrichment activities where required
The Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds QTS and a relevant degree
- Has the ability to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
- Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students
- Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
