Sales Engineer – DDoS & Threat Defense

The Role:
As Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical heartbeat of the sales process – translating a genuinely differentiated product into clear, compelling value for enterprise security buyers. Working closely with Account Executives across the full cycle, from first conversation through to close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the technical win across the full sales cycle – discovery, demo, POC, and close
- Deliver tailored demonstrations to security, infrastructure, and executive stakeholders
- Lead proof-of-concept engagements that showcase real, measurable value
- Handle RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical due diligence with confidence
- Feed product and engineering teams with sharp, on-the-ground customer insights
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure a seamless post-sale handoff
Who You Are:
- 3+ years in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Architecture within cybersecurity
- Hands-on technical background with the ability to engage security teams at depth
- Comfortable translating complexity for both practitioners and executives
- Experience in network security, DDoS mitigation, or threat defence — a strong plus
- Self-directed, outcomes-focused, and at ease in a fast-moving environment
- Based in the UK with the right to work – fully remote
