We are partnering with a global leader in transport technology, searching for a Senior System Support Engineer to join their UK-wide IT Security team. This is a technical, high-ownership role focused on end-to-end patch management and vulnerability mitigation across critical infrastructure.

You won't just be pushing updates; you will be responsible for the architectural health of the deployment lifecycle – troubleshooting complex networking protocols, subnetting, and firewall configurations to ensure 100% compliance across diverse OS and bespoke software environments.

  • Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex deployment failures by analysing subnetting, firewall rules, and network protocols to ensure seamless delivery across the estate
  • Technical Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for high-level technical calls, explaining complex security configurations to other engineering departments


Requirements

  • The Tech Stack: Experience using Ivanti, or heavy experience in MS Intune
  • Networking: Hands-on experience troubleshooting subnetting, firewalls, and core protocols
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: A solid understanding of network topologies, including switches, routers, WAN, and LAN
