I am recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing and highly respected business within the animal health sector. Backed by significant investment and with ambitious growth plans, the company is now launching a brand-new sales team dedicated to expanding its presence within the agricultural trade and merchant channel.

They are looking for an experienced and commercially driven sales professional who already has strong relationships within the agricultural animal health trade sector and can truly hit the ground running. This role will suit someone who thrives on building partnerships, developing territories and becoming a trusted presence within the industry.


The Role

As Territory Sales Manager, you will take ownership of developing and growing a new territory, selling a portfolio of animal health and nutritional products with a strong focus on ruminant livestock.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and growing relationships within the agricultural trade and merchant channel
  • Building a new territory from the ground up, identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Supporting merchant partners and their teams to drive product awareness and sales
  • Conducting dual calls on-farm and providing support alongside merchant customers
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and increasing visibility and market share within your territory
  • Managing your territory proactively, planning and executing effective sales strategies


About You:

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive individual with a genuine passion for agriculture and animal health.


You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or territory management
  • Experience selling into the agricultural trade or merchant channel
  • Strong product knowledge within the farming and/or large animal health sector
  • Excellent commercial awareness, communication and relationship-building skills
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the drive to develop and grow a successful territory
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
  • The ability to build credibility quickly and develop long-term customer relationships within the industry
  • A full UK Driving licence
