Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting experienced Welders to support ongoing mechanical installation and fabrication works within a highly regulated environment. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with a strong safety focus and proven site experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out welding activities in line with approved procedures and specifications (WPS)
- Work on a range of materials including carbon and stainless steel
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards
- Adhere to site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Support inspection and testing activities as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a coded Welder in an industrial environment
- Valid and in-date welding qualifications/certifications
- Experience with TIG and/or MMA welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong understanding of health & safety on site
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g. nuclear, oil & gas, or similar)
- Previous site-based project experience
- Additional trade skills or multi-skilled background
