Installation / Commissioning Manager

We are hiring for our client, a well-established and growing engineering business based in Co. Tyrone, to recruit an experienced Installation / Commissioning Manager. This is a key hire for the organisation, offering the opportunity to lead commissioning activities across complex machinery and equipment projects, both on-site and internationally.

The successful Installation / Commissioning Manager will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards, working closely with engineering, production, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation and commissioning activities across multiple projects
  • Manage on-site teams and coordinate with internal engineering functions
  • Oversee testing, validation, and handover of equipment to clients
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Maintain strong client relationships during installation and commissioning phases
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety standards and procedures
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a commissioning, installation, or field service management role
  • Strong background in heavy engineering, machinery, or wash plant equipment
  • Experience managing teams on-site and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as required for project delivery
  • Strong understanding of health & safety in a site-based environment
