HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Nottingham

Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Nottingham.

We are offering ongoing work, competitive PAYE rates, and both day and night shifts available.

PAYE Pay Rates

• Days: £17.08 per hour – start times between 06:00 and 10:00
• Nights: £18.55 per hour – start time around 23:59

Job Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Safely delivering parcels to Delivery Units.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
• Completing and maintaining accurate delivery paperwork.
• Following all relevant driving, health and safety regulations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience; newly qualified drivers may also be considered.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor endorsements.
