Role Summary And Impact
The Planner/Buyer is a central role responsible for developing and executing data‑informed, innovative media campaigns across various channels (including Digital, Press, Radio, and OOH). The position involves:
- Assessing media options and compiling detailed recommendations.
- Managing campaign finances and providing insights on target audiences and market trends.
- Supporting junior team members and collaborating with the Account Director to ensure best value for clients.
The Planner/Buyer significantly impacts client business performance by delivering innovative, data‑driven media campaigns, fostering strong client relationships, contributing to team development and culture, and consistently striving for award‑winning work and industry‑leading innovation.
Skills And Experience
To excel in this role you will need:
- A proven track record in media planning and buying.
- A keen analytical mind and strong communication skills.
- The ability to execute campaigns effectively while contributing to client growth and team development.
Other desired skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good numerical and administrative ability, including Excel.
- Natural curiosity and willingness to challenge planning when required.
