Role: Technical Sales Manager Pumps
Location: Flexible
Salary: Up to 50,000 depending on experience
Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager with a strong background in the pumps industry, ideally with exposure to Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Water sectors.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines technical understanding with commercial awareness and enjoys building long-term customer relationships while driving business growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage relationships with key customers across Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Water markets
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Provide technical pump solutions tailored to customer requirements
- Work closely with engineering and internal teams to develop proposals and quotations
- Support the full sales cycle from enquiry through to order and delivery
- Attend customer sites, conduct meetings, and represent the business at industry events
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of the pumps industry (essential)
- Proven technical sales or business development experience
- Experience working within at least one of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, FMCG, Water/Wastewater
- Ability to understand and communicate technical engineering solutions
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of hitting sales targets
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
