The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Local Housing Manager to join a Retirement Living scheme in Winslow, providing vital sickness cover.

This is a rewarding, customer-facing role at the heart of a vibrant scheme, where you'll support older residents to live independently while ensuring the building remains safe, compliant, and well managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tenancies, including rent accounts, arrears prevention, and voids
  • Oversee health & safety compliance, property checks, and repairs
  • Coordinate and manage contractors (cleaning, grounds maintenance, etc.)
  • Handle ASB, complaints, and safeguarding concerns
  • Build strong relationships with residents and promote community engagement
  • Work collaboratively with families, external agencies, and local services
  • Support residents with wellbeing and welfare benefit queries, maximising income where needed

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within social housing, ideally working with older or vulnerable residents
  • Strong knowledge of housing management and tenancy sustainment
  • Confident managing compliance, contractors, and scheme operations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • IT literate with experience using housing systems and maintaining GDPR-compliant records

Additional Requirements

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential Flexibility to occasionally cover nearby schemes if required
