Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer Practitioner (Senior) to join one of our 3rd line infrastructure engineering teams. Your role will involve working within a very dynamic operations team that supports Linux, storage, virtualisation and backup environments. The role requires a self‑motivated person, with strong inter‑personal skills, who can communicate effectively with people at all levels. This team is working with a long‑standing client who is embarking on a major technical refresh.
Location: Belfast (Hybrid working). This is a hybrid role; the person appointed will initially be expected to attend the office to support training.
Essential Skills
- Proven record of leading Major Incident/Problem/Change Management
- Proven ability as a subject‑matter expert in a range of systems
- Experience of working within medium/large sized project transitions
- Experience in managing relationships with key internal and external technical stakeholders
- Extensive experience supporting Linux or Unix
