The role

  • Joining in a newly created position driven by continued growth within the Employment team
  • Advising predominantly employer clients across a full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Handling issues such as employee relations, tribunal litigation, redundancy and restructuring, TUPE, dismissals and discrimination
  • Supporting on more complex matters including High Court disputes relating to restrictive covenants
  • Drafting and reviewing key documentation including contracts, policies and settlement agreements
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision, while also assisting senior members of the team on larger matters
  • Working closely with a collaborative and approachable team, contributing to a positive and engaged working environment

You

  • NQ to 2 years’ PQE with prior exposure to employment law
  • Able to manage your own matters while knowing when to seek support
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice tailored to business needs
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to build lasting client relationships
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Ambitious, proactive and keen to establish yourself within a growing team
  • A genuine team player who wants to contribute and make an impact

Client relationships and development

  • Building strong relationships with clients and consistently delivering a high level of service
  • Taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and adding value beyond the immediate legal issue
