Building Services Consultancy
We are working with a well-established Building Services consultancy looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Epsom.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment, working across a range of projects and sectors.
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of high-quality mechanical building services designs from concept through to completion while working closely with senior engineers and project teams.
The Role
- Deliver mechanical building services design on a range of projects
- Produce detailed and coordinated design solutions to client specifications
- Prepare design calculations and technical reports
- Produce and assist with AutoCAD drawings
- Attend client and project meetings
- Assist with project delivery and coordination
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and quality control procedures
- Carry out building surveys where required
- Support and collaborate with junior members of the team
- Work towards Chartered Engineer status
Requirements
- Experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment
- Mechanical building services design experience
- Understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Ability to undertake mechanical calculations and technical reporting
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Working towards Chartership desirable
