Estimator – Projects Construction

Job Title: Senior Estimator Job Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Salary: £75k-£80k basic plus competitive package inc pension, travel allowance, healthcare, bonus. Company & Project: A privately owned regional Main Contractor with a busy pipeline of work across Norfolk are looking to grow their talented team with a new Senior Estimator. The business is a long standing main contractor with a proven track record in the local area. The business works across the a variety of sectors including Mixed-Use, Residential, Commercial and Healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the cost plans and pricing of single and 2-stage tenders in the main under JCT D&B forms of contract and typically £1m-£7m in value. Identify appropriate and qualified subcontractors for each tender, negotiating on price and maintaining strong contractual relationships. 10 years+ experience in a pure estimating role with a main contractor.– Sector experience must include New Build and/or Refurbishment projects.– Experience with Causeway or Conquest estimating software would be advantageous.– Estimator OR Senior Estimator OR Principal Estimator OR Intermediate Estimator.
