Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector
Contract: 12 Month Contract
Location: Dartford – with Travel
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + Benefits
Quality Inspector / Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer required to join a specialist engineering business who are involved in large power and energy-based infrastructure projects across the UK.
This role will play a key part in ensuring that engineered cooling equipment and packaged units are manufactured, inspected, and documented to strict project and quality standards. The position will involve working closely with internal project teams, suppliers, and clients. Alongside regular inspections at manufacturing facilities across the UK.
The Role:
Inspection, planning and review of ITPs, inspection and test plans for chiller / cooling systems.
Quality control and inspection of equipment, components, and packaged systems on supplier sites.
Coordinate and manage inspections involving internal teams, clients, and third-party inspectors.
Managing nonconformance /NCRs of systems and components.
Support equipment release inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector Background:
Previous experience in a Quality Inspection or Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or Control role within an engineering or technical environment, pipework, welding, metal working etc
Experience conducting equipment inspections, quality audits, or supplier assessments
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inspections, documentation, and project priorities
Lead Auditor qualification desirable – training supported
CSWIP Welding Inspection qualification advantageous but not essential

£50,000-£60,000 basic salary
