Position: Senior Administrator
Location: Mitchison Road Surgery
Salary: £26,000
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Help us to deliver great primary care by improving access, outcomes and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Practice Manager to ensure smooth running of the practice, developing efficient systems and delegating tasks.
- Promote development and maintenance of a qualified learning environment across the practice.
- Deputise for the Practice Manager and oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring effective processing of administrative work and liaison with reception and administration teams.
Ideal Candidate
What we look for in new colleagues:
- Experience in NHS or GP practice and prior use of System One is desirable.
- Reception or customer care experience; excellent communicator, spoken and written.
- Basic PC skills – Word, Excel, email.
- Ability to work within processes, procedures, and maintain data security.
- Previous NHS experience welcome but not essential.
