Location: Home-Based (Cheshire, occasional UK travel)Hours: Mon-Fri, 39 hrs contracted (55-65 hrs typical with overtime)Rate of Pay: 18-20/hr basic + OT (1.5x & 2x) | Tool & Boot Allowance | Company Van
Join a Leading Plant Maintenance Team!We’re urgently seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair our fleet of Volvo, Caterpillar, and Komatsu heavy earthmoving machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobile servicing and diagnostics on customer sites and in our Cheshire workshop
- Overhauls, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- On-site welding and gas cutting (advantageous)
- Ensure safety and cost efficiency while achieving QSHE objectives
Requirements:
- Proven experience with heavy plant, construction, or quarry equipment
- CSCS Card, First Aid, EPIC Quarry Passport, NVQ Level 2 desirable (training available)
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive, independent, and proactive attitude
